The Philadelphia Chinatown Dragon Boat Team (PCDBT) was founded in 2007 by a group of first-generation Chinese immigrants, primarily from the southern provinces of Fujian and Guangdong. 

费城华埠龙舟队（PCDBT）成立于2007年，由一群第一代华人移民发起，其中大多来自中国南方的福建和广东等地。

What began as a way to reconnect with a 2,500-year-old cultural tradition from southern China has evolved into a vibrant, intergenerational community. The team has grown increasingly diverse in both ethnicity and age, with members ranging from teenagers to paddlers in their sixties. 

这支队伍起初是为了重拾源自中国南方、已有两千五百年历史的文化传统，如今已发展成一个多元且跨世代的社区，成员涵盖多个族裔，年龄从青少年至六十多岁不等。

This unique blend of participants has created a special environment where younger members initially drawn to the athletic aspects of dragon boat racing discover meaningful connections with older generations. 

正是这样一群多元又独特的成员，营造出一个特别的团队氛围。很多年轻人一开始是被龙舟竞技的激情吸引而来，没想到在划桨的过程中，也与长辈们建立起了跨代的深厚情谊。

PCDBT has become a source of pride for Philadelphia's Chinese community, with practices and races becoming community events where family members of all ages gather to watch, celebrate, and share meals. 

费城华埠龙舟队已成为本地华人社区的骄傲。每次训练和比赛就像是节日一样，吸引各个年龄层的家人前来观赛、欢聚，一起呐喊助威、共享家常菜，凝聚了浓浓的人情味与文化归属感。

The team's dedication has led to impressive competitive success, including six championships in various dragon boat races, while maintaining its core mission of preserving cultural heritage and fostering community bonds.

多年来，龙舟队凭借不懈的努力，在各类龙舟比赛中斩获六次冠军，成绩令人瞩目。但更难能可贵的是，队伍始终没有忘记初心——在追求竞技突破的同时，也坚持传承中华文化、凝聚社区情感。
